John has been with Commonfund since June of 2000. His past professional experience includes mortgage data entry, processing and underwriting, mortgage originator, bank assistant manager and manager, and a licensed mortgage consultant.

John likes to get to know his customers, listening to their wants and needs. He works very closely with them and their Realtor to close their loan as quickly and painlessly as possible.

John is college educated, having worked his way through college.

He enjoys golfing, fishing, and being with his family .

Tyler Cagwin

Tyler joined Commonfund Mortgage Corp. in January of 2005. His past experience has been in the financial planning, stock brokerage and insurance industries. He has received extensive training in maintaining client relationships and prides himself on the superior service he provides to his clients on a daily basis.

Dom Gaccino

Dominick has just recently joined Commonfund in December of 2010.
Dominick originally got started in the mortgage industry back in 1997, initially in quality control and then onto underwriting.

He has been a loan officer now for the past 6 years now helping many borrowers buy their 1st homes or helping them consolidate debt and lower their monthly payments.

His underwriting and quality control background make it very easy for him to structure deals because he always look at deals through an underwriters eyes.
This makes his transactions go through smooth and clean.

In his spare time he enjoys traveling, cooking and helping raise money and awareness for Autism Speaks.

Sigrid Holben

Sigrid has been with Commonfund for 11 years. She has recently completed the Nehemiah Training Course to become a "Designated Nehemiah Specialist."

"I am a very good listener and relate well to all types of customers, from first time home buyers to investors with several properties. Since buying a home can be very stressful, I work very closely with my customers from the first conversation until the point of their closing."

Sigrid began her mortgage/banking career over 12 years ago as a loan officer, after having spent six years working in the computer leasing field.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.

Lorraine Labelle

Lorraine joined Commonfund in 2008. Lorraine has spent the last 14 years assisting families with their mortgage needs. She began her career as a Mortgage Processor before becoming a Loan Officer.

She is a graduate of the Sandler Institute specializing in refinancing and first time homeowner programs.

Lorraine is the mother of four grown children and lives in Liverpool, NY

Debb Parker

Debb Parker has been with Commonfund Mortgage for over 17 years.

She began her career as an assistant to another loan officer and was able to learn the industry hands on while developing her own philosophy and professional style.

She looks at the mortgage process as an opportunity to educate and counsel buyers on their financial picture. Her goal is to make people aware that they need to be accountable for establishing their portfolios and to take advantage of what is out there for them. She enjoys meeting people and having open conversations with them about their goals and objectives.

Debb's past professional credentials include ten years with New York State, and supervising a home for developmentally disabled children.

Debb has an Associates Degree in Business Management and Accounting, is a member of GSAR, and is involved with UNPA.

Mike Spirko

Mike joined Commonfund in May, 2004.

He has learned to focus and manage many tasks simultaneously as a pilot for US Airways since 1981. These skills will be invaluable in the mortgage business where you have to coordinate effectively with attorneys, realtors & credit agencies while being able to develop a high level of trust with your borrowers.

Mike earned a B.S. from Kent State University in 1974 as well as being commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.

Kristy Ashley

Kristy has been a mortgage professional since 2002 and came to Commonfund Mortgage in July of 2010. With expertise in all types of residential mortgage products including VA, FHA, USDA, conventional and construction loans as well as vacation and investment lending. Kristy has been involved in e real estate since 1986 when she held a Real Estate License as well as working as a Real Estate Appraiser. Kristy is diligent in making sure that clients receive the best service and are matched with the best loan products to meet their needs.

As a life resident of Syracuse area she has been active in the community and church while raising and home schooling her three children. Married to her husband of 23 years, a local Real Estate Broker, they enjoy boating, attending skating events with their daughter and being with friends and family,

Kim Gage

Kim has been with Commonfund’s Auburn Office for the past twelve years.  She has always enjoyed working in the banking sector.  Starting her career in the banking field she has worked her way up to an assistant branch manager for a local bank before joining the Real Estate Market.  The sense of being able to help people realize the “Dream of Ownership” made her pursue her career as a Realtor of 19 years.  When Commonfund Mortgage opened up their Auburn Office, Kim was the choice to lead it up.  Since then she has been able to maintain the peoples choice “Best of the Region” award in banking for Cayuga County for the past five consecutive years. 

She brings a strong sense of leadership, drive, ethical standards and an understanding of what it takes to make her customers “dreams of home ownership” become true!  Her experience in both the lending field and the Real Estate field gives her customers the sense of comfort knowing that Kim really understands the “full scope” of the transaction
and what is involved to make the customers transaction a smooth one from start to finish.

Kim’s background includes not only being a Licensed Mortgage Consultant for New York State, but also being a Licensed Realtor.  She is a member of the NYSAR, CCAR, GSAR, and the National Association of Realtors.  She lives in Auburn, with her husband Bill and two sons Stephen and Bobby and enjoys what Cayuga County has to offer her family.
