John has been with
Commonfund since June of 2000.
His past
professional experience includes mortgage data entry, processing
and underwriting, mortgage originator, bank assistant manager and
manager, and mortgage consultant.
John likes to get
to know his customers, listening to their wants and needs.
He works very closely with them and their Realtor to close their
loan as quickly and painlessly as possible.
John is college
educated, having worked his way through college.

Tyler Cagwin

Tyler joined
Commonfund Mortgage Corp. in January of 2005. His past
experience has been in the financial planning, stock brokerage
and insurance industries. He has received extensive training in
maintaining client relationships and prides himself on the
superior service he provides to his clients on a daily basis.

Jim Cameron

Jim joined Commonfund in 2007 and
is targeting his outreach efforts in the Finger Lakes area. Jim
has a wide range of experience and has worked in the mortgage
business, as well as insurance, food service, facility/program
management, and human services with a focus on sales, marketing
and business management. He has a long history in the Syracuse
community where he has built his networking and
relationship-building skills. His background has enabled him to
work well with diverse people of all ages in a caring and
effective manner. Jim is committed to helping people.
After serving in the US Air Force, he was pleased to be able to
obtain his Associates in Business Administration from Onondaga
Community College. He then completed his Bachelors Degree in
Business Administration with a major in Marketing from LeMoyne
College.
Jim’s greatest pleasure is found
with his family. Of course, golfing is his next passion! He has
a keen interest in all areas of sports, music and alternative
health care.
Jim wants people to know him as the “Money Man” and is offering
‘M&M’s to everyone – so they remember that he can help them to

Joe Corona

Joe Corona, Jr. joined Commonfund
in 2007. Joe has spent the last 6 years in the mortgage industry
with the last 3 years running his own company in Florida. A
Syracuse native, Joe found himself missing his 3 nephews and 1
niece so after 8 years he moved back to Syracuse.
After graduating from St.
Bonaventure University, Joe took a job in customer service. His
customer service background has made him a success in the
mortgage industry. He prides himself on referrals and repeat
business which propelled him to start his own mortgage business
in Florida. Joe has brought that work ethic and method to
Syracuse and looks forward to starting new relationships with
prospective homebuyers and current homeowners looking to
refinance. For straight talk and a seamless transaction now and

Sigrid Holben

Sigrid has been
with Commonfund for 11 years. She has recently completed
the Nehemiah Training Course to become a "Designated Nehemiah
Specialist."
"I am a very good
listener and relate well to all types of customers, from first
time home buyers to investors with several properties.
Since buying a home can be very stressful, I work very closely
with my customers from the first conversation until the point of
their closing."
Sigrid began her
mortgage/banking career over 12 years ago as a loan officer,
after having spent six years working in the computer leasing
field.
She holds a
Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.

Debb Parker

Debb Parker has
been with Commonfund Mortgage for over 17 years.
She began her
career as an assistant to another loan officer and was able to
learn the industry hands on while developing her own philosophy
and professional style.
She looks at the
mortgage process as an opportunity to educate and counsel buyers
on their financial picture. Her goal is to make people aware
that they need to be accountable for establishing their portfolios
and to take advantage of what is out there for them. She
enjoys meeting people and having open conversations with them
about their goals and objectives.
Debb's past
professional credentials include ten years with New York State,
and supervising a home for developmentally disabled children.
Debb has an
Associates Degree in Business Management and Accounting, is a
member of GSAR, and is involved with UNPA.

Mike Spirko

Mike joined
Commonfund in May, 2004.
He has learned to focus and manage many tasks simultaneously as a
pilot for US Airways since 1981. These skills will be invaluable in
the mortgage business where you have to coordinate effectively
with attorneys, realtors & credit agencies while being able to
develop a high level of trust with your borrowers.
Mike earned a B.S. from Kent State University in 1974 as well as
being commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air
Force.

Kim Gage

Kim has been a
member of the Commonfund staff for almost five years.
She has past
professional experience in the banking industry, as well as having
been a Realtor, and Loan Officer/Branch Manager for Commonfund
Mortgage.
Kim specializes in
residential, first-time home buyers, and multi's.
Kim brings a
strong sense of leadership, drive, ethics, and hard work to her
position. She has spent over 13 years in the real estate
industry and over nine years in the banking sector. She has
been a commercial and residential manager for five years.
She is college
educated, with over 280 hours of continuing professional education
in real estate.
She is a member of
the Cayuga County Association of Realtors, the New York State
Association of Realtors, president of the Seward School PTA (3
years), and Board of Realtors California (2 years). She has been a
board member of the Auburn Little League for two years, and is a
member of St. Mary's Church.
Kim spends her
free time with her husband and family. Her son is actively
involved in hockey, which takes some of her time. In
addition to her many other activities, she finds time to volunteer
with the Salvation Army at Christmas, and is involved with the
Christmas Elf Drive. |
